Beacon Security Raises $13M Seed to Feed Cyber-Defense Agents Trustworthy Data

Tel Aviv- and New York-based cybersecurity startup Beacon Security has closed a $13 million seed funding round led by Notable Capital, the company announced on July 16. The capital will accelerate rollout of Beacon's agentic data-and-context layer, which normalizes and enriches security telemetry across 150+ sources so AI agents and analysts can reason on a single trustworthy view of an organization's defenses.

Who backed the round

Notable Capital led the round, joined by Holly Ventures, AlphaDrive Ventures, SVCI, the Jefferies Family Office and more than 60 cybersecurity founders and CISOs — including founders from Talon, Descope, Gem Security, Dig Security and Cider Security. Beacon says annual recurring revenue grew more than 300% in the first half of 2026 as Fortune 500 buyers replaced legacy SIEM pipelines with its agent-ready data stack.

What Beacon actually does

Beacon's platform combines an "Agent Lake" data layer with an Agent Runtime that hosts pre-built and customer-built security agents. It ingests raw logs from cloud, identity, network and endpoint sources, normalizes fields into a common schema, applies in-stream detection before events reach the SIEM, and surfaces coverage gaps and shadow AI usage. The company says CISOs at customers such as Lemonade have compressed high-volume telemetry like VPC flow logs to roughly 5% of their original size without sacrificing detection fidelity.

Founders come from Israel's 8200 and Team8

Beacon was founded in 2024 by CEO Gal Tal-Hochberg, CPO Or Mattatia and CTO Iddo Israely, all veterans of Israeli military intelligence units 8200 and 81. Tal-Hochberg previously co-founded HR-tech company HiredScore, which was acquired by Workday for $520 million, and served as group CTO at Team8. The trio has already collected industry recognition, including Latio's 2026 SecOps "Data Pipeline Leader" designation, Best SaaS Security Solution at the 2026 Cloud Security Awards and a Rising in Cyber 2026 slot.

Agentic SOC market heats up

The seed lands amid a scramble to give AI-native security operations centers the reliable data they need. Competitors and adjacent platforms have raised aggressively in 2026 as buyers rethink their SIEM stack, including Oak's $60M seed for an AI identity operating system and enterprise deals such as AnyDesk's zero-day disclosure this week, which highlighted how quickly telemetry gaps become active incidents.
