Dili, an AI-native compliance platform built for U.S. infrastructure and energy contractors, announced $21.7 million in total funding on July 30, 2026, including a $15 million Series A led by Khosla Ventures. The startup is pitching itself as a real-time replacement for Big Four sampling audits.
Round Details
The Series A is led by Khosla Ventures with participation from Y Combinator's Garry Tan, insurer Allianz, Brick and Mortar Ventures' Darren Bechtel and Rebel Fund. Prior seed capital brings total funding to $21.7 million.
Vinod Khosla framed the bet plainly: "America is in the middle of the largest infrastructure buildout in a generation. One missed financial compliance requirement puts hundreds of millions of dollars at risk. Dili gives the industries building this new era of infrastructure a real-time, AI-powered assurance layer that catches problems before they become liabilities."
What Dili Actually Does
Dili automates prevailing-wage monitoring, apprenticeship tracking, Davis-Bacon compliance, certified-payroll review and audit-ready reporting for energy, infrastructure, construction and advanced-manufacturing projects. Instead of the roughly 10% sampling that firms like KPMG, EY, PwC and Deloitte typically deliver every six months, Dili says it checks 100% of project data continuously.
Traction to date: more than $1.4 billion in gross wages, 5.2 million labor hours and nearly 16,000 certified-payroll reports processed across 700+ projects. The company says it has caught or prevented more than $50 million in fines and clawbacks, including a single $6 million IRS penalty exposure surfaced before it triggered.
Team, Customers, What's Next
CEO Anand Chaturvedi is an ex-Coinbase product manager and Kleiner Perkins Fellow; CTO Brian Fernandez led engineering for Coinbase's core retail infrastructure. Named customers include EDF, Radiance, Heelstone and Borea. New capital will fund hiring across engineering, product and go-to-market while Dili extends into broader audit and waste-detection work traditionally outsourced to Big Four consultants. The raise adds to a busy week for AI-in-infrastructure deals such as KUKA firing up AMP at Toledo Jeep and P-1 AI's $50M Series A with Jeff Immelt joining the board.
