Los Angeles-based Faraday Future Intelligent Electric (NASDAQ:FFAI) used the Automate Chicago robotics and automation event to complete the rollout of what it calls FF EAI Robot World, unveiling a Faber mobile manipulator series, updated pricing and specs for its All-New Futurist humanoid, and a preview of the industrial ecosystem the automaker-turned-embodied-AI company plans to build around them.
A Six-Series Lineup Across Three Robot Classes
With the second-half launch, Faraday Future's robot portfolio now covers six series across three categories: humanoid robots including Futurist, Master and Nova; quadruped bionic robots Aegis and Navi; and mobile manipulators under the Faber sub-brand. The company said robot shipments in June were expected to exceed 100 units, with first-half deliveries surpassing its 220-unit target.
"With today's second-half launch of our full-form EAI Robot World, we are showing FF's progress across multi-form robotics, device capabilities, real-world applications and ecosystem development," said YT Jia, FF's founder and Global CEO. The company's stated strategy is to build a three-in-one ecosystem of Devices, Data and the "EAI Brain" alongside an open developer platform.
The All-New Futurist: $89,900 Full-Size Humanoid
Faraday Future disclosed detailed specs for the All-New Futurist, its full-size humanoid platform priced at $89,900 including a $10,000 premium Skills package. The robot stands roughly 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 121 pounds — a 14% weight reduction over the previous generation — and features 31 body degrees of freedom (excluding hands) with a peak knee-joint torque of 320 newton-metres.
A 1,152 Wh dual-battery pack supports around six hours of continuous operation; an Ultra variant scheduled for later this year will add autonomous charging and NVIDIA Jetson Thor AI compute for on-board reasoning. Futurist targets reception, hosting, education, warehouse handling, flexible industrial operations and selected home-assistance scenarios.
Faber Mobile Manipulators For Industrial Duty
The FF Faber Mobile Manipulator series is Faraday Future's industrial-grade EAI mobile manipulation platform, blending autonomous mobility, dual-arm manipulation and precision operation:
Faber U is the flagship variant equipped with Jetson Thor compute, dual LiDAR and a multi-camera sensing rig. Faber T is tuned for power inspection, energy infrastructure and data centers. Faber S carries the widest arm span in the series and a full embodied-AI data collection toolchain, and is slated to debut at ISTE Live 26 on June 30. Faber can lift up to 11 pounds per arm, reach roughly 6.6 feet high and apply less than 0.5 N of force-control precision.
Building An Industrial Ecosystem
Faraday Future said its industrial ecosystem will focus on factory production support, light warehouse logistics, industrial facility inspection and security, and equipment maintenance, with a dedicated launch event planned in roughly six months. The lineup positions FF alongside Apptronik's Apollo 2 and Robot Park, UBTECH's UWORLD U1 consumer humanoid and Agility Robotics' SPAC-bound Digit in what has become the most crowded humanoid launch quarter yet.
