Inbolt Launches CAD-To-Floor Robot Programming Ahead Of Automate 2026

Paris startup Inbolt is rolling out Robot Programming and an expanded Robot Control that close the digital-twin gap on FANUC, Universal Robots and Yaskawa robots, with live demos at Automate 2026.

Inbolt Launches CAD-To-Floor Robot Programming Ahead Of Automate 2026

Inbolt, the Paris robot intelligence startup whose vision model gives industrial arms real-time perception, is launching two new products that close the loop between CAD models and live factory floors. The release, announced on May 27, 2026 and headed for live demonstration at Automate 2026 in Chicago from June 22 to 25, expands the company's coverage from perception only to a single platform spanning programming, perception and motion control.

From Weeks Of Commissioning To One Shot

Industrial robot deployments routinely take weeks because digital twins never quite match the real production line. Engineers tune trajectories point by point during commissioning, and any drift in part placement forces re-teaching. Inbolt Robot Programming, the new capability inside Inbolt Studio, lets engineers build programs directly on the CAD model in the part's own reference frame. At runtime the Inbolt Vision Model locates the real part and adjusts the robot's motion to execute the planned path exactly. The CAD-based release is available today for FANUC, Universal Robots and Yaskawa on moving-line applications, with more brands on the roadmap.

Yaskawa Joins Native Robot Control

Inbolt's second release expands Robot Control, the platform's real-time motion execution component, to run natively on Yaskawa controllers. That joins FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Universal Robots and Comau, bringing total native brand coverage to six. Robot Control streams corrected joint commands straight into the robot's servo loop at native frequency, closing the loop between perception and motion. The Vision Model has also been updated for broader part localization and exposes part position and live performance tests inside Inbolt Studio so engineers can troubleshoot per station.

Four Live Demos At Booth 1675

Inbolt's 20-by-20 foot booth at Automate 2026 marks its biggest U.S. showing to date. Co-founder and COO Albane Dersy said the company will run four live demonstrations: real-time unstructured bin-picking on a Universal Robot, dynamic dispensing on a moving engine on a conveyor with a FANUC CRX cobot, real-time workpiece tracking on a FANUC CRX, and de-racking parts with a FANUC CRX. The bin-picking demo has been nominated for an Automate 2026 Innovation Award. Inbolt's technology will also run on FANUC's main booth, with a CRX-20iA/L cobot performing real-time bolt tightening on a moving engine block using NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin processing. Inbolt is deployed on 200+ robots across 100+ factories on three continents and counts Stellantis, Toyota, Ford, GM, Beko and Renault among its customers. The launches reinforce a broader push toward AI-first industrial automation alongside NVIDIA's GTC Taipei physical AI announcements.
