Noin Intelligence Raises $74M Angel++ For GLOW World Model And Knowin-X1 Home Robot

Shenzhen-based Noin Intelligence, which markets itself internationally as Knowin, has closed a $74 million Angel++ round led by Matrix Partners China, giving one of China's most talked-about consumer embodied-AI teams the capital to push its GLOW generative world model into production. Redpoint Ventures, SenseTime Guoxiang Capital, Walden International and L2F Lighthouse Founders' Fund joined the round.

What GLOW Is Trying To Solve

GLOW — Generative Learning of World — stitches together synthetic training-data generation, a 3D world model, vision-language reasoning, task planning and learned robot actions. Cloud inference handles Knowin's foundation model, while action commands run locally on the robot with state feedback exchanged at 1 to 5 Hz. The goal is to let a single stack transfer skills across tasks, rather than training a bespoke model for each new chore.

Meet Knowin-X1

The first commercial payoff is Knowin-X1, a roughly 50 kg wheeled dual-arm robot with 23 degrees of freedom, two 7-DoF arms, a 6 kg combined arm payload, cameras, depth sensing and Lidar. It folds under 40 cm for storage and is aimed at household organization, laundry, folding clothes and home monitoring — the kinds of long-horizon, everyday tasks that the industry has struggled to nail.

Part Of A Broader China Robotics Wave

The raise lands alongside a cluster of nine-figure Chinese embodied-AI deals — PokeBot's nine-figure Pre-A, Discover Robotics' back-to-back angel rounds, and the $9 billion Unitree Shanghai IPO — that has pushed first-half 2026 sector financing in China to roughly $13.9 billion across 322 deals. Investors are increasingly funding the software and model layers of physical AI, not just the metal.
