Cortechs.ai and Microsoft on June 2 announced a strategic collaboration to embed Cortechs' AI-driven quantitative imaging biomarkers directly inside Microsoft's PowerScribe One radiology reporting platform — a deal designed to put advanced volumetrics in front of clinicians without forcing them out of their daily reporting workflow.
NeuroQuant And OnQ Prostate Inside PowerScribe One
Under the agreement, Cortechs.ai's NeuroQuant brain MRI volumetrics and OnQ Prostate analytics will be integrated into PowerScribe One and the broader Microsoft healthcare ecosystem. Cortechs.ai's quantitative results will surface inside the same reporting tool radiologists already use, alongside automated volumetrics meant to lift diagnostic confidence in neurodegenerative disease, neuro-oncology, traumatic brain injury and prostate workflows.
Why Workflow Integration Matters
"Radiology is at a critical inflection point," said Jared Dixon, VP of global sales at Cortechs.ai, framing the integration as removing friction rather than introducing yet another standalone AI app. Scott Foster, Microsoft's vice president for diagnostics and precision imaging, said combining Cortechs.ai's quantitative imaging with PowerScribe One should let health systems deploy AI "securely, seamlessly, and with real clinical impact," with the underlying compute riding on Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
Where The Wider Market Is Heading
The deal lands during a particularly busy stretch of FDA action in AI imaging. Tempus AI just won FDA approval for its tumor-only xT CDx assay, Subtle Medical recently closed a $33M Series C, and FDA-authorised AI/ML medical devices now run into the thousands. Embedding imaging AI inside hyperscaler-controlled reporting platforms — rather than shipping standalone viewers — is fast becoming the dominant go-to-market motion for the category.
Scale, Compliance And Azure
For Microsoft, the tie-up extends PowerScribe One's reach into quantitative imaging — historically a niche left to point solutions — and reinforces Azure as the default backbone for compliant healthcare AI. For Cortechs.ai, the integration delivers enterprise distribution it would struggle to build on its own. The integrated solution is available to health systems immediately.
