Fox ESS has signed two separate strategic battery energy storage supply agreements with Australian renewable distributors OSW and Solar Juice, each sized at 5 GWh over two years for a combined 10 GWh of Australian capacity. The frameworks were inked during the SNEC PV+ exhibition in Shanghai and disclosed on 12 June 2026.
Two 5 GWh Frameworks, One Market
Under the agreements, Fox ESS will supply residential, commercial and industrial battery storage to Solar Juice and OSW for installer distribution across Australia. The products are tailored for Australia's high-temperature and high-voltage operating conditions and have passed local certifications, supporting full-scenario deployment from rooftops to commercial sites.
Why Australia, Why Now
Australia has emerged as one of the world's fastest-growing markets for behind-the-meter and grid-scale batteries, helped by federal rebates and a glut of rooftop solar that has destabilised midday grid prices. OSW is Australia's largest renewable distributor, while Solar Juice serves as a key wholesale channel into independent installers — locking both gives Fox ESS coverage across the residential and commercial channels.
Adding To The Global Storage Tally
The 10 GWh tranche slots into a wave of multi-gigawatt-hour orders sweeping the storage industry this quarter, alongside deals such as NTPC Green Energy's 3,200 MWh BESS tender at Fatehgarh. It also reinforces the run-rate underpinning battery plant build-outs in North America.
