Angle Health said on September 18, 2026 that it had reached a $2.7 billion valuation on the back of a $600 million financing package — a $200 million Series C primary round and a $400 million tender offer to existing shareholders — led by London-based growth investor Vitruvian Partners. The San Francisco full-stack health insurance carrier will use the capital to expand geographic footprint, deepen its AI clinical-steering stack and hire against a $1 billion annualized premium-equivalent book.
Who's Backing The Round
Alongside Vitruvian, Town Hall Ventures, Blumberg Capital, Portage Ventures and PruVen Capital participated in the primary Series C. Long-standing seed investor Y Combinator, which incubated founders Ty Wang and Anirban Gangopadhyay in the Winter 2020 batch, joined the round through its Continuity vehicle. The tender component provides liquidity to early employees and pre-seed backers who have watched the valuation triple since the 2024 Series B.
Level-Funded Insurance, Rebuilt Around An AI Stack
Angle sells level-funded group plans, a hybrid product that sits between fully-insured coverage and traditional self-funding: employers pay a fixed monthly premium, get stop-loss protection and can recoup surplus if claims come in low. Angle's Benefit Builder underwrites and reprices those plans continuously against member-utilization data, while Quote-to-Card issues member IDs digitally and its AI navigation tool steers members toward lower-cost providers. Renewal increases are running 5–7% versus an 18% average for small-and-medium-business plans, according to the company.

Scale, Then Expand
Angle now serves more than 5,000 small businesses across 47 states and says it is profitable — a rarity among Series-C-stage insurance technology companies. The capital will fund expansion into additional lines of coverage, deeper payroll and HR-platform integrations, and a build-out of the company's clinical operations team. Angle joins a wave of AI-native health-tech raises this month that also included Tandem Health's $100M Series B and Altis Labs' $25M Series A.
