Bear Robotics and UK automation integrator BOWE IQ have signed a partnership designed to slash the number of weeks it takes to plug a mobile-robot fleet into an operating warehouse. The two companies say the deal will cut deployment lead times for Bear's Carti 100 autonomous mobile robot inside existing facilities by up to 40 percent.
Carti 100 gets a shortcut into legacy WMS/ERP stacks
Announced on 25 August 2026 in London, the tie-up pairs Bear Robotics' Carti 100 AMR — the 100 kg-payload workhorse used across more than 16,000 deployments and 20 countries — with BOWE IQ's API-driven integration platform. Together they promise real-time, secure connectivity into SAP, Oracle and Blue Yonder warehouse-management, ERP and MES systems, plus event-driven task dispatch and brownfield compatibility that avoids ripping up floor plans.
Integration, not hardware, is the real bottleneck
"Warehouses rarely struggle with whether a robot can do the job," said Bear Robotics CEO John Ha. "They struggle because connecting it to the software that runs their operations takes longer than anyone budgeted for." BOWE IQ managing director Nick Craven-Smith said the joint stack lets mid-market 3PLs, automotive manufacturers and healthcare supply-chain operators skip bespoke coding cycles that historically restricted advanced automation to the largest customers.
Fresh chapter after the Kinisi deal
The BOWE IQ partnership follows Bear Robotics' June acquisition of Kinisi Robotics, part of a broader push to build an end-to-end physical-AI stack from the humanoid arm down to the warehouse aisle. It also plays into a wider integrator-led wave in UK logistics automation — the same wave that led DHL to expand its own humanoid trials earlier this year.
The UK and EU 3PL market is the target
BOWE IQ, part of Germany's BOWE GROUP, will lead deployment across the UK and Europe, focusing on 3PL, automotive manufacturing and healthcare supply chains — sectors where throughput pressure and rising labour costs have outrun integration budgets. Both companies described the partnership as a "high-velocity path to ROI" for automation that would otherwise stall on connector work.
