Graph AI, a California life-sciences software startup founded in 2024, has raised $13.3 million in Series A funding to accelerate its AI-native operating system for patient safety, the company announced on September 11.
Insight Partners Leads, Bessemer Doubles Down
The round was led by Insight Partners with participation from existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners, which had backed the company's $3 million seed in October 2025. Graph AI will use the capital to expand across the United States and Europe and to accelerate product development on its Graph Safety platform — a pharmacovigilance system designed to replace manual, transaction-heavy safety operations with AI-assisted workflows that keep humans in the loop.
From /intake To /nucleus To /report
Since seed, Graph AI has brought two modules to market: /intake, which captures and triages adverse-event reports from every channel and structures them into a common schema, and /nucleus, an intelligent safety database that automates case processing end to end. A third module, /report, for automated aggregate regulatory reporting, is launching this September. The platform surfaces the reasoning behind every AI-assisted recommendation, ships with designed-in audit trails and access controls, and is aimed squarely at pharma safety teams under regulators like the FDA and EMA.

A Wave Of Physical And Life-Sciences AI Money
Graph AI's round joins a busy stretch for AI-in-healthcare funding, from Inspiren's $70M Series C for physical AI in senior living to TytoCare's $25M growth round — the latter also from Insight Partners. Founder and CEO Raghavendra Parvataraju leads a team that includes CTO Vijay Ponukumati, CPO Mohan Konyala and CFO/COO Ashutosh Bordekar, all veterans of enterprise-tech firms like Google, Wipro, Infosys, LTI and ServiceNow.
