Hubble Network raises $200M Series C at $1.6B to link Bluetooth to space

Seattle satellite-connectivity startup Hubble Network has closed a $200 million Series C at a $1.6 billion valuation, the company said on 23 September 2026. The round takes Hubble's total funding to about $300 million and finances the buildout of a low Earth orbit constellation that connects ordinary Bluetooth Low Energy devices directly to space.

Smith Point Capital leads a strategic syndicate

The round was led by Smith Point Capital, with participation from Seraphim, Carthona Capital, Earthshot Ventures, Y Combinator and RPM Ventures. Hubble also disclosed strategic partnerships with Samsara, Texas Instruments, InPlay, Reelables and Muon Space, tying the network into IoT gateways, chip suppliers and satellite bus vendors.

How the network works

Hubble operates six low Earth orbit satellites today and targets a fleet of 60 by 2030. Rather than requiring dedicated modems, its waveform lets standard Bluetooth LE chips reach orbit, extending short-range trackers, sensors and industrial hardware to global coverage. The company reports more than 100 million terrestrial gateways in 170 countries and over 500,000 active devices already using the service.

Context

The raise lands in a busy stretch of satellite-connectivity funding and launches: see Space42 and Viasat's Equatys joint venture, SpaceX's 700th Falcon launch completing the SES O3b mPOWER constellation, and the broader capital surge in August 2026 robotics investment.
