Lovable Doubles To $13.3B With $400M Series C From Menlo

AI vibe-coding platform Lovable has raised a $400 million Series C at a $13.3 billion valuation, doubling its worth in a matter of months as the Stockholm startup pushes deeper into enterprise app-building. The round was announced on August 12, 2026 and was co-led by Menlo Ventures and the EQT-managed Scaleup Europe Fund.

A $13.3 billion vibe-coding bet

Lovable, founded in 2023, lets users spin up full-stack applications and websites from plain-English prompts. Since launching its consumer product in November 2024, the company says more than 60 million projects have been built on the platform, and its apps now attract over 900 million visits every month. Annualized revenue reportedly crossed $500 million in June.

Big-name backers pile in

Alongside Menlo and EQT, the Series C drew participation from Balderton Capital, Carmignac, Kaszek Ventures, LTS Growth, Tencent, World Innovation Lab, Regent, Accel, Antler, CapitalG, DST Global, Evantic Capital, HubSpot Ventures and Salesforce Ventures. It follows Lovable's recently disclosed multi-year deal with Google Cloud, covered in Lovable Makes Google Cloud Its Primary AI Partner, that made Gemini its default frontier model line.

Race for enterprise vibe coding

The round arrives as investors flood every layer of the AI coding stack. Rival Cognition was recently valued at $40 billion, and infrastructure players like Convex and HappyRobot have posted their own mega-rounds this month, underlining just how fast capital is moving into agentic and generative developer tools.

What the money buys

CEO Anton Osika said Lovable will use the proceeds to grow headcount toward roughly 450 employees this year, with hiring focused on machine learning, product, infrastructure and security. The company is also expected to accelerate its push into regulated verticals, where enterprise buyers want tighter governance around AI-generated code and applications.
