Noetive Exits Stealth With $41M Seed To Wire AI Into The Physical Economy

San Francisco-based Noetive emerged from stealth on September 16, 2026 with a $41 million seed round led by Eclipse, unveiling an ambitious plan to build what the company calls the “Intelligence of Record” for the physical economy. The applied AI research lab pairs self-improving models with multi-modal sensing pods designed to coordinate materials, machinery, transportation, inventory, labor and supplier networks across manufacturing, logistics, energy and data centers.

An Intelligence Layer For Atoms, Not Bits

Founder and chief executive Amir Frenkel, a Meta and Google alum, argues that the biggest AI opportunity is no longer chat but the physical operations that still run on spreadsheets, PDFs and tribal knowledge. Noetive’s universal sensing pods stream continuous data from factories, warehouses and grids into a central foundation model that plans production, routes materials and negotiates with supplier systems in real time.

“AI will transform and reimagine the potential of companies in the physical economy,” Frenkel said in a statement announcing the round. Early customer Steuben Foods, a private-label beverage manufacturer, is piloting the platform and told the company that production planning is one of the most time-consuming parts of running its business.

Who Backed The Round

Alongside Eclipse, the seed brought in Craft Ventures, The Westly Group, Swish Ventures, Factory, Incite Ventures, Gigascale Capital, Operator Partners and Liquid 2 Ventures, plus angels including former Meta AI chief Ahmad Al-Dahle, Nest co-founder Matt Rogers and Boston Dynamics veterans. Eclipse partner Lior Susan said the firm is anchoring its next fund on companies that rebuild industrial operations from the software layer up.

Racing A Crowded Physical-AI Field

Noetive lands in a fast-growing category. Recent rounds for Skild AI, EUCLYD and Inspiren show investors piling into companies that translate AI progress into gains on the factory floor and inside physical facilities. Noetive is betting that owning both the sensing hardware and the reasoning stack will be the difference between a demo and a production system.
