NVIDIA Unveils RTX Spark Superchip For Windows AI PCs At Computex

NVIDIA used the opening day of Computex 2026 to announce RTX Spark, a MediaTek-co-designed Arm superchip aimed at a new wave of Windows agentic-AI laptops from Dell, HP, ASUS, Lenovo and MSI.

NVIDIA used Computex 2026 in Taipei to push deeper into the PC industry, unveiling RTX Spark, a MediaTek-co-designed Arm superchip purpose-built for a new generation of Windows AI laptops. CEO Jensen Huang framed the move as a bid to own every layer of the AI stack, from cloud GPUs down to the silicon inside personal computers.

What is inside RTX Spark

At full strength, RTX Spark pairs up to 20 Arm CPU cores designed with MediaTek, a Blackwell GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores, 128GB of LPDDR5X unified memory and up to 300GB/s of memory bandwidth. NVIDIA says the design lets the same memory pool feed CPU, GPU and the neural processor, slashing the data movement that throttles current AI PCs and making it practical to run 70-billion-parameter models locally.

Launch partners and form factors

Dell, HP, ASUS, Lenovo, MSI and Microsoft itself are launch partners, with the first RTX Spark laptops promised before year-end. Engineered to be as slim as 14 millimeters and as light as 3 pounds, the systems will land in 14- to 16-inch screen sizes with precision-machined aluminium chassis. Microsoft is positioning RTX Spark as the reference platform for an agentic version of Windows that runs Copilot, vision models and locally fine-tuned assistants on-device.

A direct shot at Intel, AMD and Qualcomm

The announcement marks NVIDIA's first integrated CPU-GPU SoC for mainstream PCs and sent shares of AMD, Intel and Qualcomm lower. RTX Spark slots above MediaTek's existing Arm-PC ambitions and below NVIDIA's data-centre Grace platforms, giving Huang a continuous silicon ladder from edge devices to AI factories like the one he showcased earlier this year with TSMC at GTC Taipei.

The Computex keynote also followed Intel's own physical-AI push at the show, including the Panther Lake-class OpenVINO update and the rackscale inference system unveiled with SambaNova and Foxconn. RTX Spark is NVIDIA's answer: the PC, redesigned around tightly integrated AI compute rather than as an add-in card.
