Chinese embodied-intelligence startup PsiBot, also known as Lingchu Intelligence, is closing on roughly 00 million of new funding at a .48 billion post-money valuation, according to a July 23 Bloomberg report. The round is led by state-adjacent automaker Chery Automobile, with sensor and cover-glass supplier Lens Technology among the investors. The deal vaults PsiBot into China's growing club of embodied-AI unicorns just 18 months after the company was founded.
Chery Automobile Leads With Lens Technology Alongside
Bloomberg reports Chery Automobile is anchoring the new round and Lens Technology — best known as a precision-glass supplier to Apple and Tesla — is participating. The two backers give PsiBot a direct pipeline to two of China's largest hardware ecosystems: automotive and consumer electronics. Since inception in 2024, PsiBot has now raised close to 00 million across angel, Pre-A and this latest round, and its earlier Pre-A drew Shanghai state-owned Xuhui Capital and market-oriented funds Pufeng Capital and Timing Capital.
End-to-End VLA Models And The Psi-SynEngine Data Loop
PsiBot's technical bet is an end-to-end Vision-Language-Action foundation model paired with its Psi-SynEngine data-acquisition engine, which captures dexterous-manipulation interaction data at what the company describes as sharply lower unit cost than existing pipelines. The team — led by Peking University's Boya Scholar Dr. Yang Yaodong as chief scientist and Stanford visiting scholar Chen Yuanpei — has already validated the stack in real-world logistics warehouses, and plans to assemble what it claims will be China's largest dexterous-hand dataset by year-end.
Another Chinese AI Unicorn In A Booming Bracket
The round places PsiBot alongside a rising cohort of Chinese physical-AI startups. Recent nearby comparables include Walden Robotics’ 00M seed, X-Humanoid’s WAIC 2026 Tiangong reveal, and Galbot’s CATL-backed retail pilot. Proceeds from the new round will scale PsiBot's logistics deployments and data-collection systems as it pushes toward broader commercial roll-out.
