Rhoda AI has exited stealth with $450 million in Series A funding at a $1.7 billion valuation, alongside the public debut of FutureVision, its robot-intelligence platform built on video-predictive control. It is one of the largest early-stage rounds ever raised in physical AI and immediately puts the company in the same valuation tier as several humanoid leaders.
Khosla, Temasek lead a marquee cap table
The round drew capital from Khosla Ventures, Temasek, Mayfield, Premji Invest and Capricorn Investment Group. Rhoda spent 18 months in stealth before the announcement and now sits alongside NVIDIA-backed humanoid platforms and software-first physical-AI peers competing for industrial pilots.
Teaching robots to anticipate
FutureVision is the technical pitch. The system learns from hundreds of millions of internet videos, observing how objects move and how the physical world behaves, then forecasts what is about to happen in the robot's surroundings and converts those predictions into motor commands — repeating the cycle dozens of times per second. Rhoda says the platform is hardware-agnostic and will be licensed to robotics platforms worldwide, rather than tied to a proprietary chassis.
An industrial wedge in a humanoid market
The funding lands amid a humanoid arms race that already includes Tesla Optimus, VinDynamics' Dyno, Figure AI, Unitree, and Agility Robotics. Rhoda's positioning is deliberately different: rather than building another humanoid, it sells the intelligence layer for existing robots and AMRs to operate in chaotic, real-world environments where reliability, safety certification and cost still gate adoption.
"FutureVision bridges the gap between perception and action," a Rhoda AI spokesperson said in the announcement. With $450 million in the bank and a hardware-agnostic licensing model, the company is now one of the better-capitalized contenders to define the software stack underneath the next decade of industrial robotics.
