Taktile, the New York-based maker of an agentic decision platform for financial institutions, has raised a $110 million Series C led by an arm of Goldman Sachs. Announced on June 24, 2026, the round drew Tiger Global, Index Ventures and Y Combinator, and brings the company's total funding to roughly $184 million.
Automating high-stakes financial calls
Banks and insurers spend billions screening risky transactions, processing claims and onboarding customers. Taktile positions its platform as an operating system that turns models from leading AI labs into dedicated agents for that sensitive work, chaining agents that read documents, interpret coverage and decide payouts. Cofounder Maik Taro Wehmeyer, who built the company with Maximilian Eber, said "2026 is the year where AI comes to financial services."

Agents with guardrails
The platform orchestrates AI agents alongside business rules, data and human-in-the-loop steps, with full traceability and "zero black boxes." Taktile points to outcomes such as a 95% reduction in manual work and 75% fewer anti-money-laundering false positives across customers including Mercury, Monzo and Allianz. The raise lands amid a wave of capital for applied-agent companies, from Sierra's $950M round to Assort Health's $120M Series C.
Global expansion next
Wehmeyer said the new capital will fund continued product development and a new office in Sao Paulo, extending Taktile's footprint across the United States, EMEA and LATAM. The investment is the latest sign that infrastructure for production-grade AI is attracting megarounds, echoing deals like Baseten's $1.5B Series F.
