AgiBot Innovation Technology said its 15,000th robot has rolled off the production line, a milestone the Shanghai company says reflects its move from product validation and batch production toward larger-scale real-world deployment. The landmark unit was an AgiBot G2, a wheeled mobile manipulator with a humanoid torso and arms built for industrial tasks.
Production ramping fast
AgiBot previously said it took about a year to grow from 1,000 to 5,000 units. The next leap, from 5,000 to 10,000, took only three months, with production speed up more than fourfold versus the prior phase. The company has now extended that acceleration to 15,000 units, pointing to maturing supply chains, standardized manufacturing and on-site deployment capabilities.
G2 proven on the factory floor
In late June, AgiBot completed about 100 cumulative hours of factory livestream operations featuring the G2 on Longcheer's tablet production lines, where the robot conducted quality inspections aligned with factory rhythms and worked continuously alongside line workers. The company also ran a World Challenge alongside ICRA to show how AI models can drive robots through real industrial tasks.
Leading a scaling race
According to Omdia, AgiBot ranked first globally in humanoid robot shipments and market share in 2025, with 5,168 units and a 39% share. The company argues that competition is shifting from single-robot demos toward sustained production, batch delivery and deployment, a theme echoed by rivals such as Agility, Boston Dynamics and Figure AI. The milestone follows AgiBot's recent U.S. deployment plans and growing shipment forecasts for Chinese humanoids.
