Consumer robotics maker Hypershell has begun European sales of its X Series exoskeletons — the Ultra S, Max S and Pro S — positioning the range as the world’s first TUV Rheinland-verified end-to-end AI exoskeleton for consumers.
HyperIntuition motion control
The X Series is powered by Hypershell’s HyperIntuition algorithm, which the company says responds in as little as 0.31 seconds and holds 97.5% gait synchronisation across mixed terrain. Peak assistive torque on the flagship Ultra S reaches 400 W, with 32 km of AI-managed range on a single charge — enough to shave measurable perceived exertion from long hikes.
Three tiers, one motion engine
All three models share the same HyperIntuition core: the Ultra S targets trail runners and mountaineers; the Max S is tuned for multi-day hikers and cyclists; and the Pro S packages the algorithm in a lighter, cheaper form factor for daily walking. TUV Rheinland’s verification covers ergonomic safety, control latency and the reliability of the AI pipeline — a rare industry-wide checkmark for consumer wearable robotics.
Consumer wearables meet clinical potential
Hypershell joins a growing wave of AI-assisted mobility hardware including TUM’s soft-hand exoskeleton for ALS and stroke patients and Motorica’s optical-sensor Omni Hand. European retail launches through Amazon and independent outdoor dealers begin immediately, with rehabilitation partnerships expected to follow as clinical data accumulates.
