LeapXpert Raises $180M to Lead AI-Powered Governed Communications

LeapXpert, the New York-based leader in what it calls Governed Communication Intelligence, announced on June 30 a $180 million growth investment led by Riverwood Capital, with participation from existing investor Portage Ventures. The round will bankroll a push to turn governed enterprise messaging into an AI-ready data asset across financial services, the public sector, and the Forbes Global 2000.

From Archiving to Intelligence

Enterprise communications have decisively moved to consumer messaging channels such as WhatsApp, iMessage, Signal, and WeChat — the informal conversations where deals close and client relationships are built. For years those exchanges sat outside enterprise systems, creating regulatory and security headaches. LeapXpert's Communications Platform captures, governs, and analyzes those conversations in real time, and the company argues AI can now turn that data into one of the most valuable assets an organization owns.

“The first generation of enterprise communication software archived conversations. The next governed them. The latest uses AI to unlock value from every interaction,” said Jeff Parks, co-founder and managing partner of Riverwood Capital, who is joining LeapXpert's board. “LeapXpert leads that progression today, and no one is better positioned for what comes next.”

Three Waves of Demand

Founder and CEO Dima Gutzeit said the mission is to give every organization “the infrastructure to govern their conversations and the intelligence to act on them.” Co-founder and CBO Avi Pardo described a three-wave expansion: financial services as the proving ground, government as the fastest-growing segment, and the broader Forbes Global 2000 as the arriving third wave.

Hundreds of organizations already rely on LeapXpert. The company has been named a Visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Communications Governance and Archiving two years running, made the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 in 2024 and 2025, and joined the Financial Times' 2026 list of the fastest-growing companies in America. Proceeds will deepen the platform's ability to understand and act on governed conversations — including its Maxen client intelligence app — and expand the senior leadership team.

Enterprise AI Capital Keeps Flowing

The raise lands in a week of heavy enterprise-AI dealmaking, from Together AI's $800M Series C led by Aramco Ventures to Taktile's $110M Series C for agentic decision infrastructure. Like Geordie AI's secure-agent play, LeapXpert is betting that governance is the gateway through which enterprise AI adoption must pass. Houlihan Lokey advised LeapXpert on the transaction.
