Pudu Robotics Launches MP2000 AI-Native Autonomous Pallet Handler

Pudu Robotics unveiled the MP2000, an AI-native pallet-handling robot with 2,000 kg capacity, 3D LiDAR perception and fork-in in as little as 20 seconds.

Pudu Robotics Launches MP2000 AI-Native Autonomous Pallet Handler

Pudu Robotics has moved deeper into industrial logistics with the launch of the PUDU MP2000, an AI-native autonomous pallet-handling robot built to standardise floor-to-floor pallet transport across warehouses, logistics facilities and manufacturing plants.

Specs Aimed At Real Warehouse Work

The MP2000 carries a 2,000 kg payload and completes fork-in in as little as 20 seconds, according to Pudu's August 18, 2026 announcement. A stack of 3D LiDAR, depth cameras and multi-sensor perception lets it identify pallets, low-profile obstacles and overhead structures in cluttered facilities.

The robot supports common pallet formats such as three-runner and perimeter-base designs, and also adapts to custom, non-standard load carriers — a feature Pudu is pitching to sites that today force pallets to be redesigned around their fleet.

AI-Native, Not Bolt-On Automation

Pudu is calling the MP2000 “AI-native,” contrasting it with legacy AGVs that were retrofitted with software. The robot communicates with peripheral equipment such as automatic doors and elevators to access controlled areas without human intervention, turning pallet handling from a project-heavy deployment into what Pudu describes as a standardised robotic solution that slots into existing operations.

Filling Out Pudu's Industrial Lineup

The MP2000 sits alongside Pudu's expanding hardware line-up, including the D5 quadruped and D7 semi-humanoid unveiled earlier at WRC, and the Pudu D7 industrial semi-humanoid. The company is backing the push with fresh capital: it raised nearly $150M at a $1.5B valuation to scale embodied AI, and follows North American logistics operators stepping up non-auto robot orders.
