Shenzhen-based Pudu Robotics anchored its 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC) presence with the theme 'One Brain, Multiple Forms, Scenario Intelligence,' running its industrial-grade PUDU D5 quadruped through a live 'complex environment autonomous navigation challenge' and debuting the semi-humanoid PUDU D7 alongside its established service robot family.
PUDU D5 Climbs Stairs, Crosses Gravel And Threads Narrow Passages
On the show floor, the D5 executed autonomous navigation, continuous stair climbing, gravel-road traversal and narrow-passage negotiation, highlighting its motion-control, perception and path-planning stack for unstructured terrain. Paired with modular payloads - water cannons, pulse fire suppression guns and inert gas systems - the D5 is being positioned for firefighting in petrochemical plants, logistics hubs and forest fire zones, where high temperatures, toxicity or explosion risk make human response dangerous.
Grid Inspection And 24/7 Industrial Patrols
For power-grid inspection, the D5 fuses dual-light gimbals, acoustic-visual modules and robotic arms to autonomously perform equipment checks, temperature monitoring, partial discharge detection, meter reading and remote operations at plants and substations. Its multi-sensor fusion also captures visible-light and thermal imaging simultaneously, detects gas leaks and flags abnormal sound sources for round-the-clock patrols across chemical, energy, manufacturing and warehousing sites.
PUDU D7 Semi-Humanoid Plays Photographer At JD.com Booth
The semi-humanoid PUDU D7 took a softer role at the JD.com exhibition area, working as a 'photographer volunteer' - snapping Polaroids of visitors and printing them on the spot. Beyond D5 and D7, Pudu showed its Bella Pro, CC1 Pro, MT1 Max and T300 commercial robots across delivery, cleaning and industrial applications.
130,000 Robots Shipped Across 85 Countries
Pudu Robotics has now built four product lines - service delivery, commercial cleaning, industrial delivery and general embodied intelligence - with cumulative shipments exceeding 130,000 units serving 16 major industries across 85 countries and regions.
