Chinese cleaning-robotics leader Roborock used IFA 2026 in Berlin to stretch well beyond the robot vacuum, giving Europe its first live look at the wheel-legged Saros Rover and revealing the company's first-ever robotic pool cleaner, a new flagship robot vacuum-mop and a wire-free robotic lawn mower.
Saros Rover crosses the ocean
First shown at CES earlier in 2026, the Saros Rover is the piece of hardware Roborock is banking on to move the category past its most stubborn limitation: stairs. Its wheel-leg hybrid architecture raises and lowers each leg independently, letting the robot adjust its ride height, negotiate obstacles, perform small jumps and even climb staircases one step at a time. Motion sensors and 3D spatial data map the environment so the Rover can genuinely move between floors and clean each step rather than getting trapped on one level. Roborock is not naming European pricing or availability yet.
Robotics move outdoors and underwater
The company's other headline product is the RockAqua P1, Roborock's first robotic pool cleaner. Australia and New Zealand will be the first markets to receive it in January 2027. The P1 cleans the pool floor, walls, waterline and shallow platforms down to 15cm and delivers up to 6,800 GPH of suction into a 4-litre debris basket. Vision-based obstacle avoidance identifies drains, stairs and steps while ClearVision Smart Patrol Cleaning targets dirtier zones first. Runtime is rated at up to 3.5 hours on a floor cycle.
Outdoors, the wire-free RockNeo Q2 LiDAR mower uses Roborock's Sentisphere LiDAR to map lawns and handle slopes up to 45%, no perimeter cable or RTK base required.
Flagship floor care gets an upgrade
The Saros 20 Flow is Roborock's new headline vacuum, packing 36,000Pa of suction, RetractSense LiDAR, Reactive AI obstacle recognition across more than 300 object types and Roborock's SpiraFlow 2.0 self-cleaning roller mop. The chassis is 8.98cm tall and clears double-layer thresholds up to 8.8cm; the dock washes the mop with 100°C hot water and dispenses detergent automatically. It launches in Australia for AU$2,799 in late September or early October. The Qrevo Edge 3 Pro shares the 36,000Pa headline number with 14N mop pressure and a 350m² per-charge range, also priced at AU$2,799 from mid-to-late September.
A widening pitch beyond the vacuum
The IFA sweep reinforces how Chinese cleaning brands are pushing autonomy across the whole home, echoing IFA moves this week from LG's ThinQ CLAW and CLOiD, Xiaomi's CyberOne humanoid, and D-Robotics' Sunrise chip wins. Roborock's F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 stick cleaner also gets a Turbo Steam Mode delivering 180°C steam and lands in Australia in October for AU$1,599.
