Dean Banks Takes The Executive Director Seat
Banks previously served as President and CEO of Tyson Foods and was a Project Founder and Lead at Google, spanning industrial operating experience with technology-native policy chops. In his new role, he will set strategy on robotics deployment policy and act as primary spokesperson to legislators, regulators and the media on Robots for America's active files — including the proposed National Commission on Robotics Act and the GUARD Act.

Founding members of the coalition include Formic, Machina Labs, Standard Bots, Dexterity, Path Robotics, Chef Robotics, GrayMatter Robotics, Mytra, Mujin, MFR.IO, CreateMe and the Digital Manufacturing & Cybersecurity Institute. New members announced this week are Viam, Impossible Metals, Cardinal Robotics, Trossen Robotics, the ARM Institute, Ground Control Robotics and Cosmic Robotics — a cross-section spanning industrial automation platforms, humanoid robotics, materials innovation and enabling physical AI infrastructure.
