Rockwell Automation and industrial AI vendor Augury on July 23 announced a strategic technology and go-to-market partnership that stitches Augury's Reliability Agent directly into Rockwell's Fiix MAX AI maintenance assistant, aiming to turn machine-health signals into executed work orders instead of another alert queue.
Insight-To-Action, Not Another Dashboard
The pitch is straightforward: manufacturers already sit on a mountain of sensor and MES data — Rockwell's own State of Smart Manufacturing report says only 43% of collected data gets used — so the two vendors are combining Augury's Industrial AI Workforce with Rockwell's Fiix computerized maintenance management system and FactoryTalk Optix to move from detection to diagnosis to scheduling to execution inside one connected reliability workflow.
How The Agentic Handoff Works
Augury's Reliability Agent continuously analyses vibration, temperature and machine health inputs to flag emerging issues and recommend corrective actions. Fiix MAX then takes those recommendations and translates them into work orders, spare parts, technician routing and orchestration of execution activities. "Manufacturers don't need more alerts — they need a faster path to action," Rockwell VP Angela Rapko said. Augury CEO Elan Greenberg added the tie-up puts industrial intelligence "in the hands of front-line teams" without forcing them out of the systems they run every day.

The joint offer is targeted to be available in September 2026, with additional commercialisation details closer to launch.
