Warehouse automation integrator Trew has partnered with Brightpick to add the Atlanta company's Gridpicker automated storage-and-retrieval grid and Autopicker mobile manipulator to Trew's fulfillment portfolio, giving joint customers a single-vendor path from conveyor line to AI-picked tote.

Under the agreement, Trew integrates Brightpick's Gridpicker and Autopicker platforms with its SmartMoves WX warehouse execution system and CHAMP warehouse control system, plus its sortation, conveyor and project-services stack. The pitch to distribution operators: buy the pick-face automation and the surrounding orchestration from one contract.
Filling A Physical-AI Gap
Trew's traditional strength is conveyor-driven, fixed-throughput automation. Brightpick brings AI-driven mobile manipulation that has become table stakes as retailers push into denser SKU catalogs and grocery-adjacent categories.
