NewCore Exits Stealth With $66M for Agentic Identity

NewCore has emerged from stealth with $66 million to rebuild enterprise identity for an era in which AI agents work alongside humans. Announced on June 15, 2026, the round was led by Cyberstarts with Index Ventures and Evolution Equity Partners, valuing the company at about $300 million.

Identity built for humans and agents

NewCore treats AI agents as first-class identities with their own lifecycle, trust scoring and revocation, rather than as service accounts in disguise. Its Secure Split Key (SSK) architecture removes the single point of failure in SAML and OIDC signing infrastructure, the root of attacks behind some of the largest identity breaches on record, while phishing-resistant VisualMFA replaces relay-prone factors.

An Agentic Skill for coding agents

The platform ships an "Agentic Skill" integration that lets coding agents such as Claude Code, OpenAI's Codex and Cursor authenticate and operate inside the enterprise trust map as first-class citizens. NewCore says it is engineered for environments where agentic identities outnumber human ones by two orders of magnitude. Led by three-time founder Zohar Alon, the team includes a former Unit 8200 research leader and a former CIO of T-Mobile USA. The launch adds to a busy stretch of AI-security funding alongside Exaforce and Opal Security.

Available now

NewCore is available to enterprise customers today, with a coexistence model that lets organizations migrate in hours while preserving existing federations. The deal underscores how agent governance is becoming a distinct security category, a theme echoed by startups like ZeroDrift.
