Israeli quantum-software firm Classiq and Austrian architecture company ParityQC announced on July 15 that they will fuse their compilation stacks under the EUREKA Germany-Israel cross-border R&D program, aiming to make it dramatically cheaper to run useful quantum algorithms on today's fragile qubits.

What The Deal Combines

Classiq's model-first synthesis engine takes high-level algorithm descriptions and turns them into optimized, hardware-portable circuits. ParityQC's Parity Twine technology rewrites how quantum information is routed on a chip so that qubits can talk to each other without expensive SWAP gates. Weld them together and enterprises get a single toolchain that goes from problem statement to hardware-tuned execution.

A World-Record Sweetener

The joint pitch comes with proof: Parity Twine running on IBM Quantum's Heron processor set a new benchmark for Quantum Fourier Transform implementations, nearly doubling the previous best. Executed inside Classiq's platform, the companies say the workflow will preserve portability across superconducting, ion-trap and photonic backends while shrinking circuit depth.

Why Enterprises Care

Classiq's customer roster - Rolls-Royce, BMW Group, Comcast, Intesa Sanpaolo - has spent a year asking the same question: how do we test quantum workloads without rewriting every time a hardware vendor ships a new topology? Pairing hardware-aware compilation with a high-level engineering surface is the practical answer. "Quantum computing will only become practical at scale if the software layer can automatically bridge the gap between algorithmic intent and the constraints of real machines," said Classiq co-founder and CEO Nir Minerbi.

ParityQC co-CEO Wolfgang Lechner added that the integration "lowers the barrier to create useful quantum applications," a claim the companies plan to test with the University of Innsbruck and Bar-Ilan University on benchmarking, workforce development and standards work.

The Bigger Picture

The move fits a busy fortnight for Classiq, which also signed a Korean quantum-cloud deal with QAI and locked in an academic push with Alfred University in the first week of July. For ParityQC, the partnership is one more step in its plan to graduate the ParityQC Architecture from research demos into commercial developer tooling.
