HowToRobot Powers AutomationFinder, Robotics Australia's New Vendor-Neutral Buying Platform

Robotics Australia Group has launched AutomationFinder on top of HowToRobot's technology, giving Australian buyers a vendor-neutral path from problem to supplier across 20,000+ automation vendors.

HowToRobot Powers AutomationFinder, Robotics Australia's New Vendor-Neutral Buying Platform

Robotics Australia Group has launched AutomationFinder.com.au, a national vendor-neutral platform that helps Australian businesses identify what to automate and connect with vetted robotics and automation suppliers, using technology from Copenhagen-based HowToRobot. The rollout was announced September 17 by Humanoid Global Holdings, which is a minority investor in HowToRobot and sits on its advisory board.

What The Platform Does

AutomationFinder gives buyers a guided path from problem to purchase order: it helps them identify automation opportunities, generate supplier-ready briefs, assess feasibility and cost, compare competing quotes, and shortlist providers. The engine underneath draws on 600+ real automation projects catalogued by HowToRobot and its network of 20,000+ global automation suppliers, of which roughly 500 operate in Australia. The platform first went live on September 1 and is now formally powered as a partnership with Robotics Australia Group, the country's national robotics peak body.

Why This Matters For Australian Manufacturing

"Helping a business work out what is worth automating, and who can deliver it, is often the hardest part of adoption," said Sunny Ray, CEO of Humanoid Global Holdings. Australia's manufacturing sector has historically lagged peers on automation density, and buyers have complained for years that finding the right integrator for a specific problem is more painful than the technology itself. Making a curated national marketplace the default entry point is a bet that removing that friction turns interested buyers into committed ones.

How The Deal Is Structured

Humanoid Global (CSE: ROBO) holds a minority equity stake in HowToRobot from a US$75,000 Series A investment announced February 26, 2026, and provides strategic guidance under a two-year advisory-board agreement. HowToRobot supplies the platform and supplier network; Robotics Australia Group operates AutomationFinder locally. The launch adds to a wave of national and industry-scale automation buying activity: North American robot orders rose 4% in Q2 as non-automotive buyers take over the market, Sweden's HMS Networks moved on Spain's ROBOT S.A., and Palladyne AI's FANUC America collaboration shows physical AI reaching into existing factory installations.
