Nvidia and Doosan Group broadened their physical AI partnership during CEO Jensen Huang's Seoul visit, layering the chipmaker's Isaac, Cosmos, Newton and Jetson Thor stack into a Doosan-built Agentic Robot OS and stretching the alliance from factory arms into Bobcat construction gear, small modular reactors and AI-data-center circuit-board materials.
Agentic Robot OS For Depalletising And Sanding
Doosan Robotics is folding Nvidia's Isaac robotics frameworks, Cosmos world models, Newton physics engine and Jetson Thor edge platform into an Agentic Robot OS aimed at high-mix industrial tasks like depalletising and surface sanding. Doosan Bobcat, meanwhile, is applying the same physical AI stack to construction, agriculture, landscaping and material-handling equipment, developing specialised world models so machines behave sensibly outside the tidy factory floor.
Beyond Robotics: Turbines, SMRs And PCB Materials
The expansion pulls in Doosan Enerbility — gas turbines, steam turbines, small modular reactors and hydrogen fuel cells — as candidate power sources for Nvidia's DSX AI factory blueprint, while Doosan Corporation Electro-Materials BG's advanced printed circuit boards are lined up to feed next-generation AI data center hardware. "Korea is a manufacturing center of the world, and physical AI is the next growth opportunity," Huang said.
Part Of A Wider Korean Push
Nvidia unveiled the Doosan expansion alongside a broader Korea sweep that also formalised a similar physical AI collaboration with LG, and comes on top of the earlier Grid Dynamics — Doosan Robotics Gain Physical AI cobot deal and Doosan Robotics' PalletizHD Plus AI palletizing debut.
