OlloBot, a Hong Kong-based companion robot brand from Ollobot Robotics Limited, is using IFA Berlin 2026 to give European buyers their first look at OlloNi SS1, a family Cyber Pet designed for long-term emotional connection rather than pure task automation. The device makes its European debut at Booth H1.2-174 from September 4 through 8.
Emotional AI meets embodied hardware
OlloBot positions Cyber Pet as a distinct product category at the intersection of emotional AI and Physical AI. The SS1 combines an EmpathCore emotional intelligence engine for interpreting user cues, the Affinilog interaction system for personalising responses, and a removable Memory Heart Module that preserves accumulated shared memories as the robot's owner cycles through devices.
Founder framing
Founder Lyn Fang said the key question for embodied AI is no longer just what a robot can do, but what relationships it can build. That framing puts OlloBot in contrast with service-and-assistant-oriented pitches, and closer in spirit to Sony's aibo or LG's CLOiD home robot direction.
Kickstarter rescheduled
OlloBot said it has rescheduled the OlloNi SS1 Kickstarter campaign originally planned for late August, citing product readiness and evolving regulatory and market conditions. It expects to share more milestones in the coming months. Ollobot Robotics Limited is a member of the Shenzhen-listed BizConf Technology Co., Ltd. (SZSE: 300578).
IFA humanoid moment
The SS1 reveal joins a crowded IFA humanoid and home robot lineup, including Unitree, AgiBot and EngineAI, Xiaomi's CyberOne, and D-Robotics-powered TCL hey AiMe and Vbot SuperDog.
