Ondas Holdings (Nasdaq: ONDS) unveiled two new autonomous defense systems ahead of the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition in Paris, pitching them at military buyers grappling with cheap FPV drones, swarms and dug-in adversaries.
MODUS: Mobile Counter-Drone Sensor-To-Shooter
MODUS is a mobile counter-UAS platform built for maneuver forces operating in contested electromagnetic environments. The system fuses radar, electro-optical sensors, cyber detection, GNSS disruption tools and autonomous interceptors into a single sensor-to-shooter stack designed to defeat threats such as fiber-optic guided drones that are immune to RF jamming. Ondas says MODUS can move with frontline units and operate in GPS-denied environments, automating much of the targeting workload.
IRON WAVE: Bots Before Boots
IRON WAVE is a robotic combat support suite framed around what CEO Eric Brock calls a Bots Before Boots concept. The suite combines robotic combat vehicles, operator stations, mission-control infrastructure and a deployable command unit so small teams can run reconnaissance, route clearance, EOD and forward logistics without exposing troops first. Ondas says the system is already undergoing operational evaluation.
Why It Matters
The launch lands as Pentagon and NATO buyers race to compress acquisition cycles. Ondas joins peers including Perennial Autonomy, Helsing and AeroVironment in pitching software-defined warfare to allied militaries. The reveal also extends Ondas integration push following its $196.6M Omnisys acquisition closed in May, which gave the company NATO-grade AI battle management software.
Outlook
Eric Brock said operational environments are changing faster than traditional deployment cycles can support, framing both products as evidence Ondas is moving from drone services to a full-stack defense systems integrator. Customers and analysts will be watching Eurosatory next week for the platforms first public demos.
