Shenzhen-based Astrall Dynamics unveiled the Hypertron-T01 firefighting quadruped at INTERSCHUTZ 2026 in Hanover on June 7, debuting a heavy-duty robot that the company says resolves the long-standing trade-off between robotic mobility and active fire suppression. The platform combines an 80 kg dynamic payload with a fully integrated high-pressure water cannon and is already in bulk deployment with China Southern Power Grid.
What The Hypertron-T01 Can Do
The on-board cannon delivers a 20 L/s flow at a 60 metre range with a 120-degree projection arc while the robot drags heavy supply hoses through debris. An advanced body-stabilisation system keeps the cannon on target as the quadruped climbs 45-degree slopes or threads narrow chemical pipelines, all controlled remotely. IP67 protection lets the robot operate in rain, dust, mud and wet environments at temperatures from -20°C to 55°C, with an 8-hour runtime preventing mid-mission power loss.
Embedded Intelligence For Hot Zones
Integrated thermal imaging, gas detection and 3D LiDAR feed continuous situational awareness back to a remote crew. By sending Hypertron-T01 into structurally compromised or toxic environments, fire commanders can keep human firefighters in safer rear areas while still suppressing the seat of the fire and gathering reconnaissance data. Astrall Dynamics says the design has been driven by real-world rescue pain points the team gathered from emergency services in China.
From Power Grid To Global Orders
The field validation comes from the system's completed bulk delivery to China Southern Power Grid, where Hypertron-T01s are used for substation and infrastructure protection. Astrall Dynamics is now opening orders globally, riding a fast-growing rescue-robotics market and a steady push by fire departments to add robotic platforms to their standard equipment frameworks. The company is backed by Pre-A round industrial venture capital and was founded by veterans of a leading Chinese drone manufacturer.
