London-based industrial humanoid startup Humanoid AI closed a $152 million Series A at a $1.35 billion post-money valuation on July 21, 2026 — Europe's first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn.
Prime Movers Lab Leads Europe's Biggest Humanoid Series A
The round was led by Prime Movers Lab, with participation from Schaeffler, Bosch (via subsidiary Robert Bosch Robotics GmbH), Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital and Aglaé Ventures. Total capital raised now stands at $270 million. Just two years after founding, Humanoid has assembled roughly 250 engineers across London, Boston, Vancouver and San Diego, and signed the industry's largest publicly announced commercial contract — with Schaeffler for thousands of humanoid robots in manufacturing environments.
KinetIQ Brain, Wheeled Robots First, Bipeds Next
Humanoid runs its own vertically integrated stack: proprietary hardware plus KinetIQ, a four-layer AI framework designed for real industrial deployments. The company's HMND 01 Alpha Wheeled robot enters mass production with this capital, and the Alpha Bipedal robot is scheduled to begin Beta deployments at customer sites in Q4 2026. Fortune 500 partnerships already span SAP, NVIDIA, Siemens, Bosch and Schaeffler — the last of which is both a strategic investor and a large-volume customer.
Europe Steps Into The Humanoid Scaling Race
The unicorn valuation caps a stark shift in humanoid economics. Late-stage capital is concentrating around a few global category leaders — Figure AI and Agility Robotics in the U.S., Chinese wheeled-humanoid maker AI2 Robotics ($735M, $2.8B valuation), Germany's Booster Robotics and now UK-based Humanoid. Bosch will act as Humanoid's contract manufacturer, giving the startup access to industrial-grade production without capex.
