Booster Robotics officially unveiled its flagship T2 humanoid platform on July 13, 2026 in Santa Clara, California, staking a claim to the high end of the embodied-development market with a bipedal robot built around whole-body coordination and NVIDIA's newest Thor computing platform.
A flagship built for real work
Booster T2 is designed to move humanoid robots from lab demonstrations to sustained deployment. Building on the company's expertise in bipedal locomotion, the robot pairs a bio-inspired chassis with advanced motion algorithms that coordinate legs, waist, arms, head and end-effectors so it can manipulate objects while moving, maintain dynamic balance, bend, turn and execute bimanual tasks. Booster says the platform is intended to move the industry from "being able to move" to "being able to work."
NVIDIA Thor unlocks on-device closed-loop AI
The T2 Pro edition ships with NVIDIA's flagship Thor chip, delivering up to 2,070 TFLOPS of on-device compute. That headroom lets visual perception, multimodal understanding, task planning and whole-body control run inside a single real-time closed loop on the robot itself, without a cloud round trip. It is currently the most powerful onboard platform in a bipedal humanoid, a category racing to consolidate around new physical-AI stacks.
Open ecosystem via Booster Studio
Alongside hardware, Booster Robotics rolled out Booster Studio, its proprietary embodied-intelligence development environment. Developers can complete the full simulation-to-real pipeline, from policy training and Sim-to-Real transfer to on-hardware deployment, in one place. The platform is aimed at academic labs, independent developers and enterprise embodied-AI teams that want to skip building a full robotic stack and focus on VLA (vision-language-action), reinforcement learning and imitation learning.
The T2 launch follows Booster's July 9 sweep of the RoboCup 2026 humanoid championships and lands amid record humanoid funding rounds and factory-floor pilots that increasingly treat humanoids as production capital equipment rather than novelty demos.
