Hypershell used IFA 2026 in Berlin to unveil the Halo, the industry's first consumer exoskeleton to power an entire lower limb by coordinating four hip and knee actuators as a single platform.

Four motors, one lower body

The Halo pairs a carbon-fiber frame with the new HyperDrive Pro four-motor system, delivering up to 1,490 W of peak output across both legs while keeping the pack weight at 2.6 kg. Hypershell also debuted HyperIntuition 2.0, an AI motion controller that adapts torque delivery to each user's gait and asymmetry, and a conversational assistant called Shelly for setup and route planning.

Price, pack size and pre-orders

The Halo folds to under 8 liters to fit inside hiking packs and carries an IP54 weather-resistance rating. Hypershell opened pre-orders on a 200-unit Origin Edition at £2,199 / $2,299 / €2,299, with general deliveries starting in November 2026.

From hiking add-on to full-body mobility

The Halo extends the roadmap Hypershell established with its TUV Rheinland-verified X Series, moving the company from hip-only assistance into powered-knee territory. It arrives at an IFA already defined by robotics, positioning the Halo against a growing cast of consumer wearables in outdoor sports and rehab.
