Dyson Debuts Three-Tier Nurovi Robot Vacuum Family To Anchor 10-Product Fall 2026 Lineup

Dyson's new Nurovi range spans a $1,199 UV-stain-detecting flagship, a Costco-only Reuleaux triangle mopper and a $549 vacuum-only R1.

Dyson Debuts Three-Tier Nurovi Robot Vacuum Family To Anchor 10-Product Fall 2026 Lineup

Dyson has unveiled a 10-product fall 2026 lineup led by a brand-new three-tier Nurovi robot vacuum family, restructuring its robot range around a flagship R3 with UV-enhanced AI stain detection, a Costco-only R2 mid-tier and a vacuuming-only R1. The lineup, announced September 3, 2026, marks Dyson's most aggressive robot-floor-care push since it re-entered the category.

Nurovi: Dyson turns one flagship into three tiers

Where Dyson previously fielded a single premium Spot+Scrub robot, the Nurovi family now spans $549 to $1,199. The R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub UV, launching in the US on September 15 for $1,199, pairs UV light, AI vision and green illumination to identify nearly 200 household substances and rewash a stain until sensors say it is gone. A 12-point hydration system feeds a self-cleaning microfiber roller with fresh water heated to 158°F, while a cyclonic bagless dock automatically empties, cleans and recharges the robot.

R2 Costco exclusive uses Reuleaux triangle pads

The mid-tier R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry, sold only through Costco at $699 starting September 3, ditches conventional round mop pads for Reuleaux triangle shapes that Dyson says maintain constant width while producing a squarer cleaning path into corners. It heats dock water to 167°F and introduces Twin-capture, which mechanically routes larger debris into the robot while the vacuum motor focuses on fine dust. An acoustic piezo sensor listens for floor type and dust load, adjusting suction on the fly in Auto mode.

R1 goes back to vacuuming-only

The $549 R1 Nurovi Dry drops mopping entirely, focusing on dry pickup with 21,000 Pa suction, the same Twin-capture debris system, and side sweepers redesigned to extend into corners and manage brush pressure to reduce hair tangling. That is a countertrend move at IFA week: most premium rivals from Roborock, MOVA and iRobot are stacking on wet-cleaning gear rather than stripping it out.

PencilWash, HushJet and service upgrades

Beyond the robots, Dyson refreshed the slim W1 PencilWash wet floor cleaner with a self-cleaning dock ($349) and expanded the HushJet air-purifier range with three larger models topping out at the $1,099 Big+Quiet Cool Pure+ Formaldehyde. A new MyDyson Concierge service promises personalized onboarding for robot buyers and a loan-machine guarantee if an in-store repair cannot be completed. Dyson also folded in personal-care launches including the CameraJet connected toothbrush and Corrale CoolShine hair straightener.

Why it matters

Dyson is signaling that it wants to compete across the full robot-vacuum price band, not just the premium end, at the same show where the Chinese incumbents are pushing steam, extending mops and pool robots. The Nurovi family's real test will be how the R3's UV-driven stain retreat and the R2's triangular pads hold up in independent testing later this fall.
