Beijing startup RoboScience debuted the REX G1, a 22-DOF wheeled humanoid running its Visics Vision-Language-Object-Action foundation model on 2,070 TFLOPS of edge compute, at the 2026 World Robot Conference.

RoboScience unveiled its first wheeled humanoid general-purpose robot, the REX G1, at the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC) in Beijing, marking the debut of its Visics embodied foundation model with a live conducting routine on stage.

22 Degrees Of Freedom And 10 kg Dual-Arm Payload

Positioned as a 'next-generation embodied intelligent productivity partner,' the REX G1 packs a dual-arm design with 22 degrees of freedom - two for the head and neck, seven per arm, two in the waist, one vertical lift and three in the chassis. The dual arms cooperate to lift up to 10 kilograms across tasks ranging from transport and pick-and-place to object manipulation.

0.75-Meter Passages, 0.1-2.0 m Reach

The 540-millimeter-wide platform adjusts between 540 and 640 mm long and 1,100 to 1,700 mm tall, giving continuous vertical coverage from 0.1 to 2.0 meters. Chassis contraction, body lift and omnidirectional mobility let the REX G1 slip through passages as tight as 0.75 meters without pivoting, aimed squarely at existing warehouse and light-manufacturing floor plans.

Visics VLOA Model And 2,070 TFLOPS Of Edge Compute

On the intelligence side, REX G1 packs 2,070 TFLOPS of edge computing power and runs the Visics general embodied model. Visics adopts an object-centric Vision-Language-Object-Action architecture: an embodied world model simulates 3D dynamic trajectories for objects, and a general manipulation model converts those trajectories into low-level physical control signals for different robot bodies. Pre-trained on video and simulation data, the system generalizes across new objects, tasks and hardware rather than replaying scripted routines.

4-Hour Battery With 5-Second Hot Swap

Endurance runs to about four hours per charge, and the robot supports hot-swappable batteries without shutdown - a swap that RoboScience says takes as little as five seconds, keeping the machine in the workflow during high-frequency logistics and warehousing shifts.
